- Born as a Dutchman in Rotterdam. Survivor of world-war II. Came to the US in October 1956 on Halloween night, with my wife Nel and daughter Cathy in a baby carrier when she was 3 months old. (Of course she was the most beautiful baby in the world.) and scared the hell out of everybody. The Monday after that I started working. First Thanksgivingsday, Chrismas and New year was a blast. The rest a medium blast. In166 I started working for Hill Air Force Base as a Machinist in the Landingear division Of Air Force Logistics Command. Retired on Mach 31st 1993
